Identity verification, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent or unauthorized use, confirmation of intent to register, age verification, confirmation of legal guardian consent when collecting personal information of children under the age of 14, handling of complaints and civil petitions, and delivery of notices.
3. Marketing and Promotional Purposes
Delivery of event and promotional information, analysis of website access frequency, and compilation of statistics regarding service usage.

In principle, the Clinic will promptly destroy personal information once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled.

Personal information provided for membership registration and other purposes will, upon fulfillment of its intended purpose, be transferred to a separate database (or, in the case of paper documents, to a separate file) and stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws before being destroyed.
Personal information transferred to a separate database shall not be used for any purpose other than retention as required by law.
2. Methods of Destruction
Electronic files are permanently deleted using technical methods that render the records irrecoverable.
Printed documents are destroyed by shredding or incineration.
■ Entrustment of Personal Information
The Clinic does not entrust customers’ personal information to external entities without prior consent.
Should such entrustment become necessary in the future, the Clinic will notify customers of the entrusted party and the scope of the entrusted work, and will obtain prior consent where required by law.

Users and their legal representatives may, at any time:
Access or correct their registered personal information;
Access or correct the personal information of children under the age of 14 for whom they are legally responsible;
Request termination of membership (withdrawal of consent).

Alternatively, users may contact the Personal Information Protection Officer in writing, by telephone, or by email, and appropriate measures will be taken without delay.
If a user requests correction of inaccurate personal information, the information will not be used or provided until such correction has been completed. If incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, the Clinic will promptly notify the third party of the correction.
Personal information terminated or deleted at the request of the user or legal representative will be processed in accordance with the “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information Collected by 00” and will not be accessed or used for any other purpose.

Patients shall not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, age, religion, social status, or economic circumstances. Medical professionals may not refuse treatment without justifiable reasons.
B. Right to Be Informed and to Self-Determination
Patients have the right to be fully informed about their medical condition, proposed treatments, potential risks, alternatives, and prognosis. Based on such information, patients have the right to make autonomous decisions regarding their medical care.
C. Right to Protection of Confidentiality
Patients have the right to have their physical and health-related information kept confidential. Medical professionals and the Clinic shall not disclose or publish such information without the patient’s consent, except where disclosure is required by law.
D. Right to Seek Redress for Damages
If a patient suffers harm to life, body, or property due to a violation of their rights, they may seek consultation and apply for dispute resolution with the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency (02-6210-0114, www.k-medi.or.kr

Patients must provide accurate and complete information regarding their health to medical professionals and must respect the treatment plans established by them.
